The San Ramon Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who made homophobic, racist comments during a TikTok video in the City of Ramon.

UPDATE: San Ramon Police Chief Denton Carlson said Monday afternoon that police have arrested Douglas Krah, 40, of Denver, CO. Krah allegedly has violated California’s Hate Crime Laws as described under Penal Code 422.6. Krah will be booked at the County Jail in Martinez.

The incident occurred at In-n-Out on Christmas Eve.

This prompted San Ramon Police Chief to take to twitter asking the two individuals in the video to contact him directly. Chief Denton Carlson then released a photo of the suspect.

“Through the help of social media, we were contacted by one of the individuals in this video. The photo below was taken this morning when similar behavior was exhibited by the pictured male. If you recognize this person, let us know! Silver Mustang w/Florida plates,” said Carlson in a tweet.

San Ramon Police confirmed they had two incidents involving this man under investigation.

This is terrible.
On the other hand, seems like an issue for the social media sites, not a criminal issue that should involve police. Reminds me of some Orwellian, “tell on your neighbor” type thing.
The guy will eventually say something to the wrong person, so let’s let it play out without taking up police resources for more important things than sum jackass running his mouth. … i.e., fentanyl trafficking and armed robbery ✌🏼

I guess this crosse the line to harassment, but honestly. Can’t we all go back to “sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me?” A hate crime for WORDS? REALLY? We are headed down a terrible road that restricts what people can say. and that only leads to madness and a dictatorship.
