On Saturday, the Antioch Police Department advised drivers in the city to do so carefully, slowly and do not attempt to cross areas that are flooded. Some areas have water that is higher than it looks.
Police confirmed they have had multiple vehicles stalled due to flooding.
Several roadways are closed which include:
- ‘L’ Street from Sycamore Ave to 18th street

- San Jose Drive
- ‘A’ street near the railroad tracks
- 10th Street between Auto Center Drive and ‘O’ Street

December 31, 2022, Contra Costa County, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works is working today to clear several roads due to flooding, mudslides and other issues. Below is the current status of roads in unincorporated Contra Costa County:
- Intersection of Pacheco Blvd & Arthur Rd, Martinez-currently closed to all traffic due to flooding. Please avoid the area.
- Tice Valley Blvd is closed between Woodhaven Lane in Walnut Creek & Tice Hollow Court in Alamo due to flooding.
- Marsh Creek Road is closed between the Round Valley Regional Preserve (19450 Marsh Creek Road, Brentwood) & Clayton Road due to flooding, rock, and mudslides. Only local traffic is allowed in the area. — More info
