Motor Cop Patrol Net 75 Traffic Enforcement Stops in Brentwood

Concord Police

On Friday, the Brentwood Police Department and Concord Police Department teamed up to conduct traffic enforcement.

The enforcement effort focused in and around school zones in the City of Brentwood.

According to Concord Police, traffic safety events such as these are made possible by a grant, awarded to the City, through the California Office of Traffic Safety.

Between the two agencies, Officers conducted over 75 traffic enforcement stops for what they refer to as “Primary collision factor” violations, or violations we have found to cause collisions.

One of the most egregious speed was 59 MPH in a 25 MPH zone (yes, they did receive a ticket).

Future events are planned for other agencies to come to Concord to assist us in providing a visible presence to deter poor driving decisions and enforcement.
