Two Arrested in Connection With Multiple Pleasant Hill Burglaries

The Pleasant Hill Police Department announced that between February 3-4 that multiple vehicles were burglarized in the Ellinwood area in the City of Pleasant Hill.

Pleasant Hill Police Patrol Officers and Detectives immediately began to investigate the case. Detectives identified a suspect vehicle, and stolen property was tracked to two different locations, in Antioch and Elk Grove. During surveillance, the suspect vehicle was seen at both locations.

Detectives sought and were granted search warrants for both locations.

On 2/9/2023, a joint group of Pleasant Hill Police Department Patrol Officers, Detectives, the K9 unit, the drone team, and the CSI team served the warrants at both locations. A search of the target locations resulted in the recovery of stolen property from the auto burglaries, evidence of the crimes like window punches, gloves, and face masks, a handgun magazine and ammunition in possession of a person who was not legally allowed to possess those items, and a credit card embosser.

Two suspects were identified and interviewed during the search warrant service – a 19 year old male adult out of Antioch, and a 19 year old male adult out of Elk Grove.

Pleasant Hill Police Department Detectives are actively working to return the recovered property to the victims in this case. The results of the investigation will be forwarded to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office for review and filing of appropriate charges.

Editors Note – according to their latest crime logs, Pleasant Hill Police had 19 auto burglaries between February 3-4. Police also did not identify either subject in the case.
