On February 18 at approximately 11:00 pm, San Ramon Police officers were dispatched to the Mill Creek Apartments, located on Waterstone Place in San Ramon, on the report of shots fired.

The investigation into this incident began immediately, and due to the combined information developed by Patrol Officers and Detectives, the suspect was believed to be in Southern California.
