Oakley Police Take Wanted Man into Custody After Chase and Threatening Officers

The Oakley Police Department was dispatched to the 60 block of Kenwood Court Friday for a report of an adult male sibling of the homeowner threatening to assault another sibling with a stick.

According to police, the call came in at 8:41 am.  Additional information suggested the suspect was bipolar and having a manic episode while pacing around with a bunch of rocks in his pocket. Prior to police arrival, they learned the suspect, Dante Peoples, 40, Oakley was wanted on a domestic violence arrest warrant that was issued by the Fremont Police Department. — Full Story
