Firefighters Respond to Vehicle vs. Bus Crash in Walnut Creek

At 3:58 pm Thursday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Firefighters responded to a report of a multi-vehicle accident with injuries at Ygnacio Valley Road and Oakland Blvd in the City of Walnut Creek.

As of 4:20 pm, it was reported one patient was critical who was quickly transported to a local hospital, two patients were moderately injured and multiple minor injuries who were to be released at scene.  Crews were currently checking patients on the bus.

Walnut Creek Police stated  the SB 680 off ramp at Ygnacio Valley Rd is closed after CHP closed the off-ramp.
