Pinole Police Arrest San Pablo Man Sex Trafficking a Juvenile

On March 8, at 12:20 pm, the Pinole Police Department received a report that a 16-year-old runaway from San Mateo County was in a house in Pinole and the reporting party advised the juvenile was being sex trafficked by an adult male.

Pinole police officers responded to the house and were unable to locate the juvenile.

The Pinole Police Criminal Investigation Division took over the investigation, and investigators were able to track and safely locate the juvenile, who was in the company of an 18-year-old male, at a house in San Pablo.

Investigators interviewed the juvenile with the assistance of the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office Human Trafficking Victim Advocate and the interview revealed the juvenile was actively being sex trafficked in the Bay Area and there were plans to take her out of State.

The investigation revealed Christopher Sanchez-Rosales, an 18-year-old San Pablo resident and the male the juvenile was in the company of in San Pablo, as the suspect. He was placed under arrest and admitted to sex trafficking the victim. Sanchez-Rosales was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for Human Trafficking of a minor (Penal Code 236.1(C).

Feb 3: Thirteen Individuals Arrested in Local Anti-Human Trafficking Operations

Martinez, Calif. – Partners working in collaboration with the Contra Costa Human Trafficking Task Force have made 13 arrests during a weeklong statewide effort to recover survivors of human trafficking and apprehend their exploiters.

As a part of Operation Reclaim and Rebuild, task force partners conducted eight separate anti-human trafficking operations throughout Contra Costa County from January 23rd through January 28th, 2023. Their efforts yielded 13 arrests of suspected human traffickers and the identification of 30 survivors of human trafficking. All the victims had the opportunity to speak with a specialized human trafficking victim advocate and were offered services. — Full Story

The scumbag will be out in 2years. What a joke, They need to enforce the time the trafficer should be held for. The victum will suffer a lot longer than the time the piece of shit will do.
