The Pittsburg Police Department is investigating a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian crash that occurred early Thursday morning.
According to police, today on 04/13/2023, at approximately 1:15 am, Pittsburg officers responded to Kirker Pass Road and Nortonville Road for the report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision.
Officers arrived on scene, and located a deceased male in the roadway. The driver of the responsible vehicle remained on scene after the collision took place, and was later taken into custody for DUI.
Members of our Traffic Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. No further details are being provided at this time.
