Operation Nets Seizure of Drugs, Firearms and Cash

Law enforcement agencies served search warrants at five locations resulting in drugs, firearms and cash in the Sacramento area.

Per the Sheriffs Office:

On May 17, 2023, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office assisted in serving search warrants at five locations in the Tulare County area. Members of SAINT (Sacramento Area Intelligence and Narcotics Team)-Central Valley California High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (CVC HIDTA), and California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team (CALMMET) worked collaboratively with the Fresno Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to conduct an investigation into a major drug trafficking organization (DTO) based out of Tulare County that was supplying narcotics to the greater Sacramento area.

With the assistance of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, the Kings County Sheriff’s Office, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the Tulare Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT), the Tulare Police Department, the Clovis Police Department, the Fresno Police Department, the Woodlake Police Department, and the Porterville Police Department, the joint investigation lasted over nine months and resulted in the seizure of nearly 1,000 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 14 firearms, and nearly $50,000 in cash (US currency). — More  photos, click here

Law enforcement also discovered and dismantled two active methamphetamine conversion laboratories with numerous 55-gallon drums filled with a total of 4,000 pounds of liquid methamphetamine in various stages of conversion. Detectives confirmed these narcotics were in fact from Mexico and being prepared for transport into Sacramento County.

Three suspects were encountered during the service of the search warrants:

  • Armando Rosales Gonzalez, 35, of Tulare;
  • Rogelio Ceniceros Flores, 37, of Jalisco, Mexico
  • Carlos Bobadilla, 39, of Tulare.

All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail pending federal charges.  Per AB 1475, passed by the state legislature, mugshots of these individuals cannot be published on social media.
