Livermore Police Arrest 7 Teens in Stabbing of 14-Year-Old

The Livemore Police Department announced the arrest of seven juveniles in connection with a May 13 stabbing of a 14-year-old.

According to police,  on Saturday, May 13, 2023, Livermore Police responded to a report of a fight involving several people at the soccer fields at Livermore Downs Park (2101 Paseo Laguna Seco).

When police arrived, they found a 14-year-old victim from Livermore with a stab wound. Police and paramedics immediately rendered medical aid to the victim. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and has since been released.

Livermore Police’s Criminal Investigations Bureau handled the investigation and learned the victim had been assaulted by seven suspects.

After collecting evidence and obtaining witness statements, detectives identified the seven suspects as male juveniles ranging in age from 15 to 17 years old. All the suspects have ties to Livermore. Police believe the fight was gang related.

In late May, Livermore Police arrested all seven juveniles. They face charges ranging from attempted murder to assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury. They are currently being held at Alameda County Juvenile Hall.

Livermore Police will not be releasing any more information at this time as the case has been turned over to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.
