Makers Market

Brentwood, CA – The Makers Boulevard is excited to announce the launch of its first annual Community Kids’ Market.

The market will offer an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to exhibit their creativity and business ideas alongside experienced artisan makers, artists, and small business owners. The market will highlight a variety of handmade goods and services created by children of all ages.

Founder of The Makers Boulevard, Katie Rogina, shared her excitement about integrating Brentwood’s young entrepreneurs into her community market. She said, “I’m thrilled about this opportunity and can’t wait to witness the innovative creations of our young makers!”

The goal of the market is to encourage young ones to explore their passions and develop their entrepreneurial and leadership skills. The Community Kids’ Market will also serve as a space for families to come together and support their kiddos.

“Downtown Brentwood is excited to be the location for an event that uplifts the youth in our community.” Said Downtown Brentwood Coalition’s Executive Director, Amy Tilley. “This concept encourages entrepreneurship, creativity, and community involvement, all of which embody the spirit of Downtown,” Tilley added.

This special event will run simultaneously with The Makers Boulevard on August 19th from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Oak Street in Downtown Brentwood. The market will feature live music from artist, Zena Scott, kids’ activities from A Dream Party, a spectacular photo op by Soirée Love, sweets and treats from Sip and Scoop California, and a mini makers craft & sensory play station with The Family Room. In addition, attendees will experience a character meet and greet, giveaways, and more.

Admission is free and open to the public. We encourage everyone to come out and support the participating vendors in addition to the nearby brick-and-mortar eateries, boutiques, and shops.

Participants 17 years old and younger will receive complimentary admission to the market and must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.

The Makers Boulevard is offering a limited number of monetary donations to help start-up businesses. The donations will be limited to $75.00 per applicant. To apply, interested individuals should send their request to [email protected] before July 19th.
