The Antioch Police Department says a 20-year-old pregnant female died at scene in a rollover crash Thursday on Lone Tree Way in the City of Antioch.
On July 6th, 2023, at about 4:50 pm, the Antioch Police Department Communications Center received multiple 9-1-1 calls about a roll over vehicle with a female who was ejected from the vehicle in the 3900 block of Lone Tree Way. Officers arrived and learned that two vehicles had collided in the intersection of Lone Tree Way and Clayburn Road.
The solo driver of one vehicle suffered chest pain was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver and passenger of the roll over vehicle was transported to an area hospital for precautions. A 20-year-old female was ejected from the vehicle that rolled over and was pronounced deceased on scene by emergency medical personnel.
Antioch Police Accident Investigators assumed control of the investigation.

Police confirmed Friday that the pregnant female was a passenger in the vehicle that was driving recklessly.

Antioch Police said Thursday that an arrest was likely, however, as of Friday at 9:00 am, no arrests have been made.
The crash occurred in front of Sutter Delta Hospital where it was reported a pregnant female was ejected approximently 50-feet and was unresponsive. The Antioch Police also responded along with AMR. At the same time this fatal crash occurred, at around 5:00 pm Thursday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District was dispatched to a traffic accident on Highway 4 at Somersville in Antioch. While responding, it was reported that a male had jumped out of a moving vehicle and sustained major injuries. Upon further investigation, he jumped out while at “freeway speed”.
