The Brentwood Police Department announced an arrest for fraud after they made a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration.
According to police, the incident occurred last week as an officer was patrolling the Lone Tree Plaza. Upon seeing expired registration, the officer did a traffic stop and while speaking to the driver, identified as 50 year-old Diego Martinez of the city of Antioch Antioch, the second officer on scene noticed drugs hanging out of Martinez’s pocket.
The officers searched Martinez’s car and found brass knuckles, numerous Driver’s Licenses, credit cards, checkbooks, blank check sheets, opened mail from the IRS and Social Security office; which did not belong to Martinez.
Martinez, a convicted felon, was placed under arrest for fraud related charges, possession of the brass knuckles and drugs. He was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility for booking
Brentwood Police say Party Complaint Leads to Gun Arrest
Also last week, the Brentwood Police Department announced they responded to a party complaint which led to an arrest of an Antioch woman who had a firearm.
According to police, on September 24 at 1:49 am, Brentwood Officers responded to the 1600 block of Ceylon Drive for a party complaint. Dispatch received additional calls reporting there was a fight and someone had a gun.
When officers arrived, they saw several partygoers in the street, including an adult female who matched the description of the suspect with a gun.
