6,000 Without Power in Antioch and Oakley

A power outage is impacting over 6,400 PG&E customers in the City of Antioch and City of Oakley Tuesday afternoon.

The outages were in the northern part of each city according to the PG&E Outage Map.

  • Power is off to 1,980 PG&E customers in the City of Antioch
  • Power is off to 4,047 PG&E customers in the City of Oakley

When the power originally went off, it listed 6,400+ without power.

CONFIRE Working Homeless Encampment Fire

At 1:47 pm Tuesday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to 100×30 vegetation fire after homeless belongings caught fire at Hillcrest and Sunset. Crews were able to gain control of the fire quickly before it spread to any structures.  PG&E requested to the scene.

PG&E Updates on July Fourth Week Heat Wave

PG&E Issues Public Safety Power Shutoff Alert:  A PSPS Watch (shutoffs likely) alert has been issued for several counties for July 2 and July 3.  This is due to high wind and dry conditions. Some parts of the counties may be affected which include:

  • Butte (July 2)
  • Colusa (July 2-3)
  • Glenn (July 2-3)
  • Lake (July 2)
  • Napa (July 2)
  • Shasta (July 2-3)
  • Solano (July 2)
  • Sonoma (July 2)
  • Tehama (July 2)
