The Danville Police Department announced the arrest of Mark Allen, 32 of Danville in connection with an illegal drug operation.

On July 11 at approximately 10:23 a.m., Danville Police Department executed a search warrant at a Danville residence, making an arrest based on several drug-related charges.

The warrant was part of an ongoing investigation initiated by Danville Police officers, and the search resulted in seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs and related paraphernalia, including methamphetamine, prescription pills and marijuana vape pens.

Officers initiated an investigation following a traffic stop where illegal drugs were found, providing cause for a Ramey warrant to be granted for the arrest and search. The charges include possession, transportation, and sale of illegal drugs, as well as selling drugs to a minor, child endangerment, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
