Congressman DeSaulnier to Host Women’s Health Town Hall

Walnut Creek, CA – With women’s health under attack across the country, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10) will host a Women’s Health Town Hall to discuss protecting access to reproductive care and tackling medical issues facing women, including breast cancer and heart disease on Tuesday, August 6th at 1:00 p.m. PT.

Congressman DeSaulnier will provide an update on Democrats’ action in Congress to protect a woman’s right to choose, expand access to health care for women and their families, and improve the quality of care. He will be joined by a local panel of special guests who will share their expertise and take questions.

  • Dr. Tiffany Svahn, physician in Hematology/Medical Oncology, John Muir Health specializing in breast cancer
  • Dr. Josie Urbina, physician/professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology, UCSF, specializing in abortion care and contraception
  • Brandy Singh, MSN, FNP-C, Cardiac Nurse Practitioner, Contra Costa Regional Medical Center
