Upcoming Oktoberfest Events Around Contra Costa County

Here is a rundown of upcoming Oktoberfest events from around Contra Costa County and beyond, kicking off with Benicia this weekend.  So far, 12 events have been listed and will add more as they become known.

October 4-6: Headlands Brewing Oktoberfest

Headlands Brewing is throwing an Oktoberfest celebration the first weekend of October! We’ll have our newest festbier, “Bierstiefel”, steins, live music, and dressing up in your finest lederhosen or drindl dress is HIGHLY encouraged to all. October 5 – Brentwood Pawstoberfest

Ruff Day Rescue is holding its second annual Pawtoberfest, October 5th from 11-5 in Veterans Park, Brentwood. There will be Live music, vendors, adult beverages and and traditional Oktoberfest fare! This is a fun event for the entire family, including our family dogs! There will be a dog costume contest and parade, an activities corner for the kids, live music, dog microchipping on site and more!

All proceeds supporting saving more dogs from being euthanized at local shelters and help with all vetting costs associated with getting them into furever homes.

October 5: SRHF Oktoberfest

You’re invited to join the San Ramon Historic Foundation for our lively annual fundraising event on October 5th.
All proceeds raised go directly to maintaining and preserving Forest Home Farms Historic Park. This 16-acre park was bequeathed to the City of San Ramon in 1997 by Ruth Boone in honor of her husband, Travis Boone. The site includes the Glass House, built in 1877, the Boone House, built in 1900, and 14 outbuildings/barns. The renovated barn, dating back to the period between 1850 and 1860, is now open for self-tours. Come see it all and treat yourself to a great lunch!

October 5 & 6:Clayton Oktoberfest

The CBCA Clayton Oktoberfest will return on October 5-6, 2024. Clayton Business & Community Association invites you to experience Oktoberfest “Munich Style” in picturesque downtown Clayton, CA. Since 2004, the CBCA Clayton Oktoberfest has been the San Francisco Bay Area’s premiere Oktoberfest.

Featuring an authentic German biergarten, food & beer, arts/craft vendors, live music plus a full size traveling carnival. Set under beautiful Mt. Diablo, it evokes a feeling of Bavaria. Free parking and admission!

October 12 – Brentwood Oktoberfest

October 13: Crockett Oktoberfest

Join the Crockett Chamber of Commerce from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for its Oktoberfest in the downtown area (628 2nd Ave). The event will feature German food, beer and wine along with music from Jeffrey James Trio (blues & rock)… plus live polka music.
