Join the City of Antioch as they celebrate the 40th anniversary of California’s Coastal Cleanup Day.

Do you wish to see less litter around our marine? On Saturday, September 21st join California’s more than 35,000 volunteers in cleaning up local areas and waterways for Coastal Cleanup Day. Register now and be part of our group of volunteers at the Antioch Water Park and the Antioch Marina.

Official Volunteer Letters Available

The Antioch Recreation Department is happy to provide letters highlighting the volunteer hours completed for this event for any participant or organization. Please contact La’Nae Jackson at [email protected] to inquiry about how to receive your volunteer letter for yourself or your organization.

  • Sept. 6 – California State Parks Host California Coastal Cleanup Day: California State Parks announced that more than 40 state parks, as well as the department’s Division of Boating and Waterways, will participate in the 40th annual California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, Sept. 21. Every year on Coastal Cleanup Day, tens of thousands of people remove trash at sites throughout California as part of the state’s largest annual volunteer event. More than 1,000 sites available across the State of California.
