The Antioch Police Department arrested a 17-year-old in connection with an armed robbery and pursuit in the City of Antioch.
On Monday, at 12:27 pm, Antioch Police received a 9-1-1 call reporting an armed robbery of a Chase Bank customer outside of the branch at 4300 Lone Tree Way. An officer in the area located the suspect vehicle, which was reported stolen, and engaged in a pursuit. The pursuit vehicle collided with another vehicle at Deer Valley and Asilomar.
The occupants of the robbery/stolen vehicle fled into the adjacent neighborhood and carjacked another vehicle, but left behind one of their accomplices, who was located hiding in the backyard of a residence by officers and arrested. The carjacked vehicle collided into another citizen vehicle at Lone Tree Way and Mokelumne and fled in an unknown direction.
Police said the arrested suspect was a 17-year-old juvenile, who they will not be naming. They are also withholding descriptions of the outstanding suspects and carjacked vehicle to allow detectives to work active leads and process evidence.
According to Lt. Mellone, a firearm was located with the help of an alert resident. There were no injuries to bystanders from these collisions.
Mellone said Antioch Police would like to thank the residents of Fallow Way who assisted officers while they searched for the suspects.

Antioch is the sister city from Oakland Ca. home of are Vice President and has the same type of people who to say the least are wild and have no sense of what is right or wrong. You can GIVE these people a Mansion and they will desroy it and all that is around it. A a Maroon city with people that lack fathers and disipline along with work ethics. They rob the businesses they burn that homes when evicted are paid by are ignorant govern ment to do so. In short they are a menace to are society and cost us billions of Dollars. They even glorify the criminals and arrest the Police. I have see them run ot of stores with shopping carts. As they destroy our history they are given a Holiday to remember the cities they have looted and caused damage. Where else in our civilized world would do you see this kind of behaviour ? I am so tired of this blatant Ignorance and this continue use of excuses in order to maintain their ignorance. We can no longer ignore the truth.
