Tracy Man Arrested for Groping 2 Juveniles

The Tracy Police Department announced the arrest of a 26-year-old man in connection with at least three groping incidents involving juveniles near schools.

TRACY, California – On November 6, 2024, Tracy Police Department Patrol Officers were made aware of three separate incidents involving an unknown male individual groping two juvenile females in the area of Lowell Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard.

As Patrol Officers worked closely with detectives from the General Investigations Unit (GIU) and School Resource Officers (SRO), Tomas Terraza Santay (26 years old from Tracy) was identified as the male individual involved in each of the reported incidents.

With assistance from the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and Special Enforcement Team (SET), Terraza Santay was arrested at his residence on November 7, 2024, without incident and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.

The suspect used social media platforms, including Instagram and Snapchat, to contact and sell the products to children, often changing his online handles and using fake names to avoid detection. The case was handed over to the Livermore Police Crime Prevention Unit.

After four months of surveillance, multiple witness statements, and the execution of over 10 search warrants, Livermore Police identified 20-year-old Brian Gonzalez of Tracy as the suspect. — Full Story
