The Antioch Police Department saws a 10-year-old fought off a car thief with a barrage of punches while parked at Antioch Florist.
According to Police:
Today officers visited ten year old Antioch resident, Aliyah, at home with a gift basket after a harrowing incident yesterday. When Aliyah’s mother stopped at the Antioch Florist on Delta Fair Blvd, she ran inside to drop off some flowers. Aliyah and her siblings waited in the car while mom quickly ran inside. In an instant, an unknown male entered the drivers seat and attempted to steal the vehicle with the kids inside.
However, Aliyah had other plans! Aliyah quickly jumped from the back seat and began pummeling the would be car thief with an onslaught of punches.
The car thief, seeing that he was outmatched in both wit and bravery, fell from the drivers seat and fled on foot!! Aliyah and her siblings immediately alerted their mother who called 9-1-1!
DNA was collected from the vehicle and video was located showing the responsible fleeing the scene!
Antioch Police said Aliyah is the niece of Officer Guzman.

Lazy parenting. This is luck, not bravery.
The fact a 10 year old does more to protect their family than the Antioch city council is why a mandate was given by voters to throw Lamar Thorpe out of office. Tamisha Torres-Walker and Monica Wilson are next.
Why doesn’t APD release a description of the perp?
