PG&E

PG&E said on its website crews are currently responding to emergencies due to storm damage. Once the extreme weather has passed, crews will begin repairs. We will provide you with an update as soon as we know more.

UPDATE: 9 a.m., Friday, Nov. 22

The second wave of a powerful atmospheric river has arrived, delivering heavy rains and strong winds along the North Coast and heading south through the Bay Area. PG&E crews and resources are working to assess storm-related damage, make repairs, and restore power safely and as quickly as possible.

Currently, there are 11,155 customers out of power.  Since the storm began, PG&E has safely restored power to 191,813 customers across the service area, 89% of whom were restored within 12 hours.

PG&E customers can find real-time updates via the online outage center.

As PG&E continues working to restore all customers, customers are urged to stay safe:

  • Never touch downed wires: If you see a downed power line, assume it is energized and extremely dangerous. Do not touch or try to move it—and keep children and animals away. Report downed power lines immediately by calling 9-1-1 and then PG&E at 1-800-743-5002.
  • Use flashlights, not candles: During a power outage, use battery-operated flashlights and not candles, due to the risk of fire. And keep extra batteries on hand. If you must use candles, please keep them away from drapes, lampshades, animals and small children. Do not leave candles unattended.
  • Safely clean up: After the storm has passed, be sure to safely clean up. Never touch downed wires and always call 8-1-1 or visit www.usanorth811.org at least two full business days before digging to have all underground utilities safely marked.
