At 2:50 pm Monday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle crash at Bailey Road near the landfill in the City of Pittsburg.
According to preliminary information, a vehicle struck a pole and ended up down an embankment. The incident also caused a pole to be severed and wires down in or near the roadway. CONFIRE requested the CHP to shut down the roadway.
