The California Highway Patrol reports that a Go-Kart driver was killed in a crash on Friday on Sellers Avenue in Brentwood.
According to CHP, yesterday, December 6th, at approximately 4:26pm, CHP Contra Costa was advised of a solo vehicle crash on Sellers Avenue, north of Sunset Road, in Brentwood. A Go-Kart, occupied by one driver, was traveling northbound on Sellers Avenue when it drove across southbound lanes, left the roadway, and crashed into a power pole.
CHP and emergency personnel arrived on scene and the driver (adult male) was transported to the hospital. While at the hospital, the driver was pronounced deceased.
