A frost advisory has been issued for parts of the East Bay, including Contra Costa County according to the National Weather Service.
A Frost Advisory has been issued from 12:00 AM through 9:00 AM Wednesday for North Bay Interior Valleys-East Bay Interior Valleys-Eastern Santa Clara Hills-East Bay Hills-Southern Salinas Valley, Mountains of San Benito County And Interior Monterey County
Temperatures are expected to be as low as 30 degrees which will result in frost.
IMPACTS…Cold conditions will be hazardous to sensitive populations such as unhoused individuals. Cold Conditions can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
