Jackknifed Big Rig Blocks Lanes on Eastbound Highway 4

At least three lanes of traffic were block on eastbound Highway 4 near San Marco after a big rig jackknifed Saturday afternoon.

According to CHP, the crash was reported at 3:38 pm which involved a big rig and two other vehicles blocking lanes of traffic.

The crash was east of San Marcos which was blocking at least 3 lanes of traffic which also involved two other vehicles according to Contra Costa County Fire who was arriving on scene as of 3:42 pm. Engine 86 crew reported 2 victims, 1 requiring extrication, but unknown injuries. Another patient has minor injuries.

Its unclear how long it will take to clear lanes on Highway 4.

UPDATE – as of 5:00 pm, CHP said all lanes were open.
