The Danville Police Department announced a pair of arrests on Christmas Eve for burglary and theft in the Town of Danville. According to Danville Police:
Christmas Morning Surprise:
Early this morning at 4:35 AM, our officers were patrolling when they spotted suspicious activity near Tassajara Ranch and Zenith Ridge. A silver Chevy Malibu was caught in the act, leading to the arrest of two individuals on charges including burglary and conspiracy. Thanks to quick thinking and response, stolen property was recovered, keeping the holiday spirit alive for one of our community members. All suspects were taken to jail.
Bait Bike Bust on Christmas Eve:
Yesterday evening at 4:05 PM, our team responded to an alert for our “bait bike” downtown. With the help of technology and teamwork, officers tracked the bike to a green Ford Ranger on SB 680. The suspects were apprehended with additional stolen goods, including a new Ryobi lawnmower, and narcotics were discovered in their possession. All suspects were taken to jail.
Police did not release the names of any of the suspects in either arrest.
