On Saturday night, the Antioch Police Department issued a lock down order for a portion of Antioch after a shots fired call resulted in a barricaded subject inside a home.
Just after 10:00 pm Saturday, a community warning system alert went out requesting folks shelter in place near Country Hills and Knoll Park Circle in Antioch.
According to preliminary information, Antioch Police originally responded to Knoll Park Circle around 6:25 pm for a report of multiple shots fired. A man then entered a home and has not come out. A loud speaker could be heard requesting the subject come out of the home with their hands up.
“No one was shot. We got a ShotSpotter activation with multiple shots fired. It appears the Boyfriend shot at his girlfriend. Girlfriend and children are uninjured and safe but the man maybe barricaded in the residence now,” per Chief Brian Addington.
According to residents in the neighborhood, they have said 5 to 8 shots were heard at the time of the shooting.
Police have not offered any other information and its unclear if anyone is injured.

There is currently law enforcement activity near Country Hills and Knoll Park Circle in Antioch. Residents in the area north of Lone Tree Way and south of Country Hills Drive are advised to shelter in place.
