Brentwood Police Arrest 2 Juveniles in For Carjacking and Robbery

The Brentwood Police Department announced the arrest of two juveniles in connection for carjacking and robbery last week.

According to police, on December 22nd at approximately 6:40 PM, Brentwood officers were dispatched to the area of McClarren Road and Griffith Lane in response to a reported robbery.

Upon arrival, officers contacted an adult male victim who explained that the suspects had assaulted him, taking his cell phone and demanding he transfer money via a cash app.

The suspects forced the victim into his own vehicle and began driving him to a location where they could retrieve more money. Fortunately, the victim was able to escape the vehicle and call the police. He sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Officers quickly gathered information identifying the residence where the suspects were believed to be. Given the seriousness of the situation and prior police contacts at the location, officers deployed the Armored Rescue Vehicle for a safe approach. The suspects were subsequently called out and detained from a residence located in the 700 block of Griffith Lane.

The suspects, identified as a 15-year-old female and a 16-year-old male, both from Brentwood, were arrested for Robbery, Carjacking, Kidnapping, and other related offenses. They were transported to Juvenile Hall.

No other information was released by Brentwood Police on this incident.
