Juvenile Stabbed Thursday in Pittsburg

On Thursday, the Pittsburg Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing on Olmsted Court in the City of Pittsburg.

According to preliminary information, an adult female reported her daughter had just been stabbed by another juvenile who left the scene.

When Pittsburg Police arrived on scene, they confirmed the female juvenile had been stabbed in her abdomen and medical attention was needed. Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters and AMR responded to the scene and transported her to an area hospital.

Police said suspect, who is known, was believed to be a 16-year-old and attends an area high school.

By 10:53 am, Pittsburg Police were still investigating and tracking down the suspects. All involved were believed to be juveniles.

Note – Pittsburg police said suspect had a prior where she stabbed her mother with a knife in another city.
