Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia announced he is hosting town hall for African American Holistic Resource and Wellness Hub.

On February 5th, 6–8 PM, please join Supervisor John Gioia and our Office of Racial Equity and Social Justice at CoBiz Richmond to share your feedback and help shape the future of resources and wellness services for the African American community in District 1.

  • Note – Supervisor Candace Andersen will host a similar town hall on Feb 3 in Danville — more info

The Board of Supervisors approved the African American Holistic Resource and Wellness Hub Feasibility Study and appointed a steering committee to lead the process of designing and procuring a contractor. This study will guide the development of Contra Costa County’s first African American Holistic Resource and Wellness Hub.

This in-person listening session is a critical opportunity to assess the community’s needs, identify gaps, and define desired services. Your feedback will directly inform the final recommended plan, which will be presented to the Board of Supervisors this spring.
