Brentwood, CA – Dedicated dancers looking to elevate their training now have an exclusive opportunity to refine their technique and expand their artistry—for free.
Throughout March, East County Performing Arts Center (ECPAC) is offering a series of complimentary masterclasses designed for intermediate and advanced dancers who want to push their skills to the next level.
With a long-standing commitment to developing the next generation of elite dancers, ECPAC is providing these high-caliber training sessions at no cost, making professional-level instruction more accessible to serious dancers in the community. Whether preparing for competitions, auditions, dance teams, or professional careers, these classes offer a rare opportunity to train with experienced industry professionals in a focused, challenging, and supportive environment.
“As someone who has spent years training as a dancer, both in college and post-grad, and competing across the nation throughout junior high and high school, I’m incredibly excited to share my knowledge and passion for dance with the next generation,” says Kalena Cortez, one of the featured instructors. “The free master classes at East County Performing Arts are an amazing opportunity for young dancers to explore their artistry, gain valuable skills, and develop a strong foundation in technique. ECPAC believes in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel both inspired and empowered to grow as dancers and individuals.”
Joining Cortez in leading these high-energy sessions is Abby Vargas, a seasoned dancer and instructor with 17 years of competitive and professional experience.
“With 17 years of competitive and professional dance experience, I’m excited to share my love for dance and pass down the knowledge that I’ve gained,” says Vargas. “East County Performing Arts is shaping the future of dance while inspiring people of all ages to move and express themselves creatively.
