Danville Bowl announced that they will be closing their doors on March 31 after land was sold by developers.

The bowling alley has 24 Championship lanes with projector screens cover all 24 lanes, while also offering leagues for all ages and skill levels.  It also operates a bar and grill inside.

Here is the message released to the community:

Dear Danville,

It has been the greatest honor to serve this great community during the last 60+ years. We hope we’ve provided fun times, smiles, and laughter to everyone who came in. Whether it was throwing some games, enjoying a drink in the lounge, or grabbing a bite in the grill, our goal was to provide memories that would last a lifetime.

The property has been sold to developers who intend to start right away. Our last day open will be Monday, March 31st.

Bowling is a great game, and even though we may be leaving there are still many great bowling centers in the area to bowl at. Dublin, Granada, Clayton, and the new Pinstripes in Walnut Creek. We hope that you continue to bowl and let bowling provide joy and happiness into your lives long after we’re gone.

Sadly, the time has come for us to move on. Thank you for the wonderful memories and fun times we all shared. We couldn’t have dreamed of being apart of a greater community.

Thank you again, Danville
