Day of Service

Brentwood, CA – The Brentwood community is excited to announce the 2nd Annual  Brentwood Community Day of Service, taking place on Saturday, April 12th, 2025. This impactful event will unite residents, dozens of local nonprofits and service  organizations, The City of Brentwood, and volunteers of all ages for a day dedicated to  improving and beautifying the community.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s Day of Service will  feature an expanded lineup of projects, including park clean-ups, a blood drive,  neighborhood beautification, school garden restorations, and support for local  nonprofits. Whether it’s fixing up a local school library, painting fences, or assembling  care packages, there are plenty of opportunities for residents to roll up their sleeves and  make a difference.

“The Brentwood Community Day of Service is more than just a volunteer event—it’s a celebration of togetherness and civic pride,” said Amy Tilley, one of the event  organizers. “We are so excited about the variety of projects this year, and we can’t wait to see them completed! Every single project will improve lives in some way, and that is a beautiful thing. We hope to have 700-1,000 volunteers participating around the City on April 12th. Imagine what the world would be like if we could spark this level of  neighbors helping neighbors all-year long, and that is the goal.”

Locals can sign up to volunteer or donate using the event Facebook page, or the page hosted on the City of Brentwood website. The day will begin with a complimentary pancake breakfast for volunteers at Veterans Park, followed by the opportunity to meet city leaders and find out about local nonprofits and service clubs.
