Antioch, CA – The Antioch Police Department is proud to announce the launch of a new Public Portal designed to streamline the process for community members to submit feedback, commendations, and complaints. This innovative platform reinforces the Department’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and community engagement.

The Public Portal is now live and accessible through the Department’s official website under the “Internal Affairs” tab or the “Comments & Recommendations” section. A public computer is also available in the lobby of the police facility to ensure accessibility for all citizens.

Key features of the Public Portal include:

  • User-Friendly Submission: Community members can easily provide feedback, file complaints, or commend officers through an intuitive online form.
  • Automated Integration: Submissions are directly pushed into the Department’s internal case management system (IAPro), improving efficiency and reducing errors.
  • Case Status Updates: Individuals can check the status of their submission and track the progress of any investigation or review.
  • Real-Time Notifications: Relevant Department personnel receive automatic alerts when a new submission is received, ensuring timely attention.
  • Multilingual Support: The portal is available in English, Spanish, and Tagalog— reflecting the primary languages spoken in Antioch.

“This portal is another step forward in building trust and strengthening communication between the Department and the community we serve,” said Chief Joe Vigil. “We want to make sure every member of our community feels heard and has a voice.”

While the portal offers a convenient digital method for submitting feedback, traditional avenues—such as in-person and telephone complaints—remain fully supported. Supervisors are still required to handle complaints in accordance with Departmental policy, ensuring that all concerns are addressed appropriately.
