One Way Traffic Control on Antioch Bridge for Maintenance Work

Contra Costa County — Caltrans has scheduled one- way traffic control on the Antioch Bridge (SR-160) on Thursday April 10th from 8 AM until 2 PM.

Southbound SR-160 from the Antioch Toll Plaza to the North end of the bridge will be closed from 8 AM to 2 PM on April 10th, 2025. Traffic will be able to flow Southbound in the Northbound Lane when clear by flaggers holding traffic coming Northbound at the South End of the Bridge.

The closure will extend the entire length of the bridge.

A pilot car will be implemented and the speed will be restricted to 25 mph in the work zone.

Caltrans will turn on Changeable Message Signs (CMS) to notify the public ahead of time.

55-Hour Full Closure

55-Hour Full Closure of Harbor Street/Railroad Avenue Off-Ramp

Contra Costa County – Caltrans has scheduled a 55-hour full closure of the Harbor Street/Railroad Avenue (Exit 23) off-ramp on westbound State Route 4 (SR-4) in Pittsburg.

The work is scheduled to start Friday, April 11th at 9 PM through Monday, April 14th at 5 AM. The work will include barrier repairs and safety upgrades. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists traveling Westbound SR-4 are advised to take the Loveridge Road exit.

Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time.


April 7-17: Guardrail Repair Work on Vasco Road

Brentwood, CA – The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will perform guardrail repair work on Vasco Road, between Camino Diablo and the Alameda County Line, from Monday, April 7, 2025, through Thursday, April 17, 2025, barring unforeseen circumstances. The work will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. The work will be scheduled to minimize impacts on commute traffic. This work is to maintain traffic safety on Vasco Road.

Message boards will be posted to advise drivers the week before scheduled work begins. Traffic control will be used. Drivers should expect minor delays.
