On Wednesday, April 16th, at approximately 11:45 a.m., the Walnut Creek Police Department responded to the report of an attempted robbery on the 3300 block of Arbolado Drive. Responding officers arrived on scene and determined the suspects, and the suspect vehicle, had already fled the area.
The victim of the attempted robbery sustained minor injuries when the suspects assaulted him in an attempt to steal his personal property. The suspects were not previously known to the victim, and it appears to be a crime of opportunity. No weapons were displayed or mentioned during the assault.
Walnut Creek Police Department Officers and Detectives are currently following potential investigative leads to identify and apprehend the outstanding suspects. The suspects were two young adult males with dark complexions wearing dark clothing and driving a dark sedan.
