The Pittsburg Police Department confirmed 1 person is dead, another wounded in a Saturday shooting.
According to police, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at approximately 7:18 p.m., officers from the Pittsburg Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Belle Harbor Circle.
Upon arrival, officers located a male juvenile suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately administered life-saving medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
A short distance away, officers located a second male juvenile who had also sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate efforts of first responders to provide medical assistance, this individual tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Detectives responded and have determined that the shooting appears to have been the result of a preceding physical altercation. The incident remains an active and ongoing investigation. Out of respect for the integrity of the investigation and the families involved, no further information will be released at this time.
