Editors Note: the Contra costa School of Performing Arts recently announced on their website they were closing: It is with great sadness we announce the closure of the Contra Costa School of Performing Arts at the end of the 24-25 school year. We have poured our hearts and souls into this beautiful artistic inclusive program. Unfortunately, due to a structural deficit as a result of facility costs and declining enrollment, we will no longer be able to operate. We will continue to support our students and families through this year and hope the arts continue to hold a special place in this community’s heart.

The mission of Contra Costa School of Performing Arts is to provide a distinguished, pre-professional experience in performing arts within a college and career preparatory setting. We believe in fostering a culture of excellence with the core values of rigor, relevance, resilience and relationships.
