On Thursday, the Concord Police Department announced an arrest of two brothers out of Fairfield in a recent double stabbing incident over graffiti.
According to police, on May 6, it was quickly determined that the motive for the stabbing was a dispute over graffiti tagging between rival gang members. The Concord Police Department Violence Suppression Unit detectives identified Cristian Cobos, 25, and Ramon Cobos, 21, two brothers who reside in Fairfield, as the suspects in the stabbing. This past Tuesday morning, CPD VSU detectives, with the assistance of the Fairfield Police Department, arrested both brothers and conducted a search warrant in Fairfield.

Concord Police Investigating Double Stabbing
The Concord Police Department is investigating a stabbing that left two people wounded in the City of Concord on Tuesday.
According to police, on Tuesday, May 6, around 3:00 pm, Concord Police officers responded to a report of a stabbing that had occurred in the area of Willow Pass Road near SR 242. Upon their arrival, officers located two adult male stabbing victims who were transported to area hospitals for treatment, and as of now, are in stable condition. It was learned that the suspects had fled prior to the officers’ arrival.
