The City of Oakley announced that it will be hosting a fireworks community forum on June 11 at 6:00 pm ahead of the 4th of July celebrations.
The Oakley Police Department is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community, particularly during upcoming 4th of July celebrations when there are many concerns over fireworks. In response to these concerns, we are pleased to announce a Fireworks Community Forum which will focus on the history of fireworks in Oakley, community concerns, response to the issues and the citation and appeal processes.
The forum will be led by Lieutenant R. Roberts and it is intended to be informative, engaging and provide a transparent view into the operational plan of the police department. This forum will be an opportunity for residents to gain insight into our proposed measures, ask questions, and express their thoughts. We encourage everyone to attend and engage in this discussion.
The forum will take place on June 11, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at 3231 Main Street, Oakley, CA
