Man Shot Thursday in Antioch

On May 22, 2025, at approximately 4:23 PM, Antioch Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2000 block of Crater Peak Way. Upon arrival, officers located a 21-year-old male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the arm.

Responding officers immediately provided first aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Officers remain on scene, canvassing the area for evidence and witnesses. Based on the preliminary investigation, this appears to be an isolated incident. The investigation is active, and no additional information will be released at this time. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending further developments.
