Firefighters Limit 2-Alarm Kirker Pass Fire to 3 Acres

At 5:36 pm Wednesday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a fire along Kirker Pass Road in Concord.

The fire was determined to be 3 acres in size with a second alarm response requested which caused southbound Kirker Pass Road to be blocked by law enforcement.

A short-time later, forward progress was stopped with no structures damaged. By 6:00 pm, the fire was limited to 3-acres.

No other information was released.

  • CENTRAL COUNTY, June 1, 2025– Clayton, Clyde, Concord, Lafayette, Martinez, Pacheco, Pleasant Hill, Rossmoor, Walnut Creek
  • WEST COUNTY, June 1, 2025- East Richmond Heights, El Sobrante, North Richmond, San Pablo, unincorporated Pinole, Tara Hills, Montalvin Manor
