Contra Costa County Assessor Delivers 2025–2026 Assessment Roll Reflecting Historic Growth

Martinez, CA — Contra Costa County Assessor Gus Kramer is pleased to announce the official completion and delivery of the 2025–2026 Assessment Roll to the County Auditor-Controller, as required by law. This annual milestone provides a comprehensive snapshot of the assessed value of all taxable property within the County.

The 2025–2026 Assessment Roll reports a total net assessed value of $290.66 billion, representing an increase of $11.67 billion—or 4.18%—over the previous fiscal year. This marks the highest total assessed value in the County’s history, underscoring the region’s continued economic vitality and growth.

Cities leading in percentage increases include:

  • San Pablo: +5.81%
  • Danville: +5.28%

More modest gains were observed in:

  • Concord: +3.10%
  • Pittsburg: +2.96%

The total number of assessed parcels now stands at 382,022, reflecting an increase of 1,341 parcels over the prior year. This growth highlights ongoing development and sustained investment across Contra Costa County.
