The San Mateo Police Department reports that an Antioch Man and two juveniles were arrested for stealing various alcohol products.
San Mateo, CA – On July 7, 2025, at 3:27 p.m., the San Mateo Police Department received a report of grand theft that had just occurred at Safeway, located at 1655 S El Camino Real.
Two juvenile male suspects, who were identified in this investigation, stole approximately $1,199 worth of various alcohol products from the store. The juveniles left the store in a silver Audi sedan, which was driven by a third suspect, later identified in this investigation as Fardy Robles. The suspects then allegedly stole approximately $2,500.00 of products from a neighboring city’s Safeway and fled from a neighboring law enforcement agency during an attempted traffic stop. The suspects fled again at a high rate of speed from another neighboring law enforcement agency and were detained shortly after.
Probable cause was ultimately established for the arrest of Fardy and the two juvenile males. Fardy was arrested for violations of grand theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, evading a peace officer, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The juvenile males were arrested for grand theft and conspiracy to commit a crime. Fardy was transported to the San Mateo County Jail, where he was booked for his charges, without incident. The juvenile males were released to the care of their respective parents/guardians.
