Contra Costa County Sheriff: Arrests Up in 2025

On Tuesday, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office will provide its oversight report for quarter 2, 2025. The quarterly reports aim to provide an update regarding the activities of the Sheriff’s Office.

At the midway point of 2025, according to the sheriff’s office, the total number of bookings between January and June were at 7,931, up from 2024 where they had 7,113 in the same time period.  Meanwhile, custody alternative bookings was at 1,082 compared to last year at 891 during the time
