Walnut Creek, CA – Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10) announced he will host a town hall in Rossmoor with local seniors to address protecting Social Security and Medicare on Tuesday, July 29th from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. PT.
This town hall comes following the recent passage of the Republican budget reconciliation bill that severely cuts Medicaid, which provides health coverage for more than 19,000 seniors in CA-10, triggers reductions in payments to Medicare providers, risking access to care for seniors, and threatens the long-term solvency of Social Security. In addition to sharing updates on his work in Congress to protect these vital programs, Congressman DeSaulnier will take questions from constituents.
