The Pleasant Hill Police Department reports that a drunk driver was not injured after driving off the second story of the downtown parking garage Sunday morning.
According to police:
Do not drink and drive!
This morning around 4 AM, Officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle driving off the second story of the downtown parking garage. Thankfully nobody was seriously injured. Following an immediate investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI and booked at the station. Their vehicle was towed.
Please, designate a sober driver, use ride share or public transportation if you are planning on consuming alcohol. Again, everyone involved here was extremely lucky there were no serious injuries.
