Oakley Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting on Trenton St.

The Oakley Police Department is investigating a early morning shooting Wednesday that left one person wounded within the City of Oakley.

According to preliminary information, Oakley Police responded to reports of multiple shots fired around 3:00 am Wednesday on Trenton Street. Upon arrival, officers located at least one person wounded and multiple casings in the driveway of a home. A suspect was also taken into custody.   As of 6:00 am, Trenton Street was blocked off by police and the incident is still under investigation.

No other information was available as of 6:30 am.
